Urine tract infection & prostate related issues
Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) and prostate-related issues are common conditions that affect the urinary system, particularly in men. A UTI occurs when bacteria enter the urinary tract, leading to symptoms such as frequent urination, burning sensation while urinating, cloudy or foul-smelling urine, and lower abdominal discomfort. In men, prostate problems like prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate) or benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH – enlarged prostate) can also cause urinary symptoms, including difficulty in starting urination, weak urine stream, frequent nighttime urination, or a feeling of incomplete bladder emptying. These prostate conditions can sometimes increase the risk of UTIs due to urine retention. Early diagnosis and proper treatment are essential to prevent complications and improve quality of life.
